City Island is located in Long Island Sound, and is easily accessible by public transportation and local highways.

If you're coming from Manhattan's East Side:
Take the FDR Drive to the Triboro Bridge. Turn onto the Bruckner Expressway. Stay on 95 North to Exit 8B, "City Island." Take a right after the drawbridge (there is a sign) and take the second turn at the traffic circle. Once you're over the bridge, you're here.

If you're coming from Manhattan's West Side:
Take the West Side Highway North; turn North on Route 95 - The Cross Bronx Expressway. Stay on the 95 North to Exit 8B, "City Island." Take a right after the drawbridge (there is a sign) and take the second turn at the traffic circle. Once you're over the bridge, you're here.

If you're coming from New Jersey:
Take the George Washington Bridge towards Manhattan. Stay on the Cross Bronx Expressway, which is route 95 North, to Exit 8B, "City Island." Take a right after the drawbridge (there is a sign) and take the second turn at the traffic circle. Once you're over the bridge, you're here.

If you're coming from Connecticut:
Take route 95 South to route 95 North, to Exit 8B, "City Island." Take a right after the drawbridge (there is a sign) and take the second turn at the traffic circle. Once you're over the bridge, you're here.

By public transportation, the best way to get here is to take the #6 train north to Pelham Bay Park, which is the last stop. Transfer to City Bus BX 29 towards City Island.
